Beat The Melanoma Beast
Dear friends and family,
As most of you know last year I was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma with tumours in various organs. To date some tumours have shrunk, there is a new one appearing and one is getting bigger. I am on my 9th month of a targeted treatment. My next scan in about 6 weeks then we will determine what happens next. Melanoma may have affected my life but it also affects those around you and those that love you. Sometimes I think it's harder for your loved ones then it is for you.
I wish that one day there is a cure found, not just for Melanoma but for all cancers! And you know the best part? We can all help by donating to Melanoma Institute Australia. They make magic. I have been down there and spoken with the Professors, they are excited and passionate.
Finding a cure for melanoma is close to my heart which is why I'm asking you to support me for Melanoma March!
Thank you so much for your support and dont be afraid to reach out and remember GET A SKIN CHECK. xxx

Melanoma Institute Australia (Melanoma March)
Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA) is the world’s largest melanoma research and treatment facility. We are dedicated to preventing and curing melanoma. Evolving from the Sydney Melanoma Unit in the early 1960s, we are a non-profit organisation, undertaking ground-breaking research and pioneering clinical trials that are helping save Australian lives every day. Melanoma March is Melanoma Institute Australia’s national fundraising campaign, raising money for critical research into finding a cure for melanoma. We rely on the incredible generosity of the community to continue our vital work. We're very grateful for the help we receive. Ongoing support allows our research experts to continue their work. You can help us by donating, fundraising, volunteering or by taking part in community events such as Melanoma March. Working together we can make melanoma a disease of the past. A Australian dies of melanoma every six hours. Please help us to change the future of thousands of Australian’s diagnosed with melanoma each year.read more
